Visitor Check-In Process

At Highline, we are committed to ensuring all students, families and staff feel welcomed, valued and safe. As part of this commitment, we have security procedures in place to protect everyone in our buildings.

Thanks to funding from the 2016 school bond, we have security video intercoms at school entrances. The security systems allow office staff to see and talk to visitors before unlocking the door. 

Visiting Our Schools

• Please use the main entrance to enter the school.
• Our office staff will greet you through the security video intercom and complete a quick screening before welcoming you inside.
• Once inside, stop by the main office to sign in and receive a visitor badge.

We have instructions in multiple languages posted near the security video intercom with reminders and instructions.
