Kindergarten Enrollment & Readiness
Join Us at Jump Start!
Jump Start is Wednesday, August 20 to Friday, August 22, 2025
Kindergarten Jump Start is a three-day learning experience for incoming kindergarten students. This free program is open to all incoming students who are registered for kindergarten at a Highline elementary school and helps students and their families prepare for school.
Benefits of Jump Start
- Jump Start eases the transition into kindergarten with three days of engaging activities.
- Helps children become familiar with school routines, meet teachers and classmates, and reduces first-day anxieties.
- Opportunities for families to meet teachers, learn about kindergarten readiness, and connect with school resources.
Students must be registered for kindergarten to attend Jump Start. To enroll in kindergarten, please visit our enrollment page.
Once online kindergarten enrollment is complete, families will receive specific details regarding Jump Start from their respective schools. Find specific school schedules and locations.
